 Another season in the books—and while it wasn't what we dreamed of, it was a disappointingly solid one. A Champions League semifinal run, another top-four finish and Champions League football secured for next year. But still… no trophy.

Sad to see a few players likely moving on but change is part of the game. Martin Zubimendi is on the way, maybe even Viktor Gyökeres? Also someone please start the Martinelli-as-striker petition. Love Trossard, but Martinelli’s pace and movement as an inside forward makes more sense—he needs to be getting in behind. 

Injuries were slightly better managed this season, but the record is still poor. You really wonder how players recover with the packed schedule especially with so many playing international football.

Despite the ups and downs, I’m hopeful. Praying we bring some silverware home next season. This team isn’t far off.
